What’s the Discvision made from ?

Discvision is made from HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene), which means that it’s light, durable and perfect for our friction-fit storage mechanism.

Which Rooms in the home can I use Discvision in ?

Discvision can be mounted to any wall in the home.
Because it’s made of lightweight material, Discvision can even be mounted on plasterboard walls as well as  traditional brickwork or masonry walls.
We would recommend that you avoid mounting Discvision in a damp, humid or wet area (like a bathroom for example). Although the Discvision itself would be unaffected by such conditions, the paper inserts or covers in the cases of your prized CD’s / DVD’s or other media may become damaged by moisture.

Is Discvision easy to install ?

Yes. Discvision has recessed holes in the corners of the product which allow you to mount the frame snugly to a wall using the supplied screws and wall plugs.
You will need a Cross-Headed (Philip’s) screwdriver and a drill with a suitable bit for installation.

Will my CD’s / DVD’s / Mini-Discs / Console Games fall out ?

No. Discvision uses a unique friction-fit mechanism to ensure your media stays in place within the frame.
Barring major earthquakes, high impacts to the area surrounding or behind the Discvision or incorrect insertions, your prized media will stay where you put it.
